Do the Right Thing [collab with Deborah Hudson] was a experiment in combining the ethos of activist organizing with gurellia style reclamation of raw urban space. The goal was to create a communal dialogue/visibility for those effected by the rapid gentrification in the Atlanta neighborhood of Summerhill. Summerhill, being a neighborhood in which the KKK used to ride through carrying torches to scare black residents into moving. This was our response to generational attempts at erasure.
