Gomi Maku is a experimental film/album created from footage I shot over the course of 3 weeks in Osaka, Kyoto and Tokyo. Inspired by the works of cult  filmmaker Sion Sono (namely Bad Film), it's a film which has no fixed narrative and tests the collective remembrance of media as well as the lifespan of degrading mediums. Each time the film is screened it is newly re-cut, making every screening a unique viewing.  Each cut is dubbed to a VHS tape where it begins (or ends) life as a consumerist object. Because of this, the film is to never exist online outside of screenshots.
